Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls

Instructions

1. Prepare the filling

  • Heat oil in a skillet.

  • Add onion and green pepper; sauté until soft.

  • Add garlic and cook another 30 seconds.

  • Add steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until done.

  • Turn off heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.

2. Fill the egg rolls

  • Lay out an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape.

  • Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center.

  • Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, fold in both sides, and roll tightly.

  • Seal the edge with a bit of water.

3. Fry

  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

  • Fry each egg roll 3–4 minutes until golden and crisp.

  • Drain on paper towels.
