Instructions
1. Prepare the filling

Heat oil in a skillet.

Add garlic and cook another 30 seconds.

Add steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until done.

Turn off heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
2. Fill the egg rolls

Lay out an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape.

Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center.

Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, fold in both sides, and roll tightly.

Seal the edge with a bit of water.
3. Fry

Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
-
Drain on paper towels.
